Begin the capital cursive Z slightly below your topline, as shown in the diagram above.

Begin by drawing a “2” shape, but as soon as your stroke reaches the bottom line, swiftly loop around to the inner left side of the letter, almost exactly beneath where you began. Immediately after finishing the short loop, bring your stroke back out, to the right, and below the bottom line.
